For your consideration is this beautiful Rickenbacker 4003S electric bass guitar in the always classy and elegant Matte Black. #768

This bass is being sold as "demo/used". There is a small scuff/mark on the top of the bass that is only visible in some lighting. Please see photos. This occurred from a loose Allen key in shipping. Only cosmetic, and everything else is fully operational and fine.

This is a 2024 arrival and serial and a fresh arrival from Rickenbacker.

The bass has the new "slimmer neck" profile. The necks on these models have been thinned down slightly and have a flatter back of the neck with less "chunk" than what they have had. The width of the neck has remained the same, it is just the girth of the neck that has changed. This thinner neck is similar to the necks on vintage 4001 instruments and gives the instrument a feel more like a vintage RIC bass.
