Featuring a serene Wild Blue finish developed in the early days of the Silver Sky’s development, this PRS Silver Sky Limited Edition marks the first-ever iteration of the model to feature a matched and painted headstock. This vintage-inspired, John Mayer-signature 6-string boasts a familiar shape with a comfortable cutaway scoop. Its 635JM-R neck carve, scale length, and fingerboard radius were modeled after John's early-'60s instruments; however, a modified PRS-style headstock and locking tuners propel it firmly into the 21st century. Park this axe in front of any tube amp, and its trio of sweet-sounding 635JM single-coil pickups will churn out glassy, musical tones with excellent note definition. Beyond that, the Silver Sky hosts a PRS proprietary nut, molded metal jack plate, retooled knobs, custom fret wire, and PRS's double-action truss rod, ensuring true and polished playability with an unmistakably professional feel.
