Tama Anika Nilles Signature Snare Drum
Anika Nilles’ aluminum masterpiece
14"x6.5"
Whether she’s writing and recording originals, educating the next generation of drummers, or taking the throne for the late Professor, Anika Nilles has forged a rhythmic path that few drummers can hold a candle to. In June of 2026, Anika took the stage with prog-rock legends Rush for the group’s highly anticipated and hiatus-breaking Fifty Something Tour. Her backbeat of choice needed to deliver hard-cutting power and tonal body while accommodating her acute technical expressiveness in order to satisfy arena audiences, which is exactly why Anika and TAMA hit the drawing board.
Using a 1.2mm aluminum shell constructed to a depth of 6.5 inches, the Anika Nilles Snare Drum blends aluminum’s naturally bright attack and crisp, sensitive response with a stronger, more assertive low-end presence. It also features four grooves at the center to simultaneously enhance the shell's structural integrity and preserve its resonant qualities.
